Statutory Approval

Ammini College of Engineering is approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education), MHRD, Govt of India

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. Established in November 1945 first as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament, AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India.

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (initially Kerala Technological University),a State Government University has come into existence on May 21, 2014 with an aim to give leadership to the technology related policy formulation and Engineering Planning for the State

Ammini College of Engineering is recognised by Department of Technical Education, Govt of Kerala.

The Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala was established on 4th September 1957. The Department is functioning under the Higher Education Department, Govt. of Kerala. State Board of Technical Education with the Minister for Education as the Chairman & the Director of Technical Education as the convener also advises the Government and the Department in matters connected with Technical Education.

 Admission to the Merit Quota

Admission to the Merit Quota in Ammini College of Engineering will be done by Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE).

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State. The Commissionerate has been conducting the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM). The Commissionerate is also making allotments to the Courses under the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).

The Kerala Self Financing Engineering College Managements’ Association was formed to represent the cause of the Self Financing Engineering Colleges in Kerala, to work together for enhancing the quality of education and to create a forum for the Managements to discuss common problems and find effective solutions.
